Our 3+ Years Nursery/Montessori 1 program is an opportunity for children to learn about the world around them with curiosity and autonomy. At this age, discovery is to be embraced, and the environment is tailored to suit this developed spirit. With age-appropriate learning corners, manipulatives, and activities designed for self-expression, children learn in an atmosphere of safety and appreciation, at their individual learning rates. 

We blend Montessori and interactive nursery learning to provide children with opportunities to make choices, use their imagination, and learn by playing. Whether tracing letters, pouring in and out of containers, building and knocking down towers, or listening to the class, all of the activities children participate in foster a desire for learning and develop literacy and fine motor skills. 

This age is also a time for social development. Children learn the skills of cooperation, of taking turns, and of forming and maintaining relationships, while our accomplished and sensitive staff provide the support and nudges that help them learn to manage risk, confidence, and their emerging independence.
